The northern part of the Province of Drenthe has everything, a welcome address for a cup of coffee, a spectacular wooded environment, a restaurant with a varied lunch menu, and activities like golfing and cycling. The chef de cuisine leads a passionate kitchen and there are dry cleaning services!
Oh, and the noise outside the window on Saturday night, with youngsters tearing up and down the street on bikes and cars until 4 in the morning. How delightful!

The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The communal areas were attractively furnished, both indoors and outdoors, providing comfortable spaces to relax and socialize. I particularly enjoyed the lovely restaurant, where I had delicious meals.
If I could ask for one improvement, it would be for better accessibility for senior people. The stairs leading to the bedrooms were quite steep, and while I managed, I can see how it could be challenging for older individuals.

The location was sick, close to dope spots like Groningen and the town itself was mad cool. Rooms were cozy and clean, and we even had a balcony to chill on. The staff was hella nice and they hooked us up with good food and drink. Definitely recommend it to all my homies!
The only thing that could have been better for us party animals was if they had a sick club or bar in the hotel for us to turn up and dance the night away. Other than that, it was a lit experience!

I recently had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel in a charming town. the location was perfect for a cycle tour, with beautiful scenery and cycling routes right on the doorstep. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. They even accommodated our request for rooms to be next to each other. The basic amenities were great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Furthermore, the breakfast spread was excellent, offering a wide variety of options including meats, cheeses, eggs. It was also impressive that they catered for different dietary needs, including vegan options. Lastly, it was a bonus having two free parking options nearby.
Everything was absolutely fine, no improvements needed.

had an amazing stay in Roden at this hotel, exceeded expectations. Lovely staff, clean rooms, and delicious meals made by the chef. Requested rooms next to each other and got a balcony as a bonus. Beds were a little soft but overall a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended!
Wifi was a little spotty.

We stumbled upon this charming hotel during our city break and it was a gem! the clean and comfy rooms had balconies with lovely views of the town, and the breakfast was tasty and satisfying. the staff were also friendly and attentive, making our stay even better. its location was perfect - close to the town center and various attractions.
On Saturday night, the noise outside our window was a bit frustrating and kept us up until the early hours of the morning. it didn't detract entirely from our overall experience.

What a gem! We stumbled upon this hotel by sheer luck and it turned out to be a hidden treasure. The kitchen may have been closed when we arrived, but the chef whipped up four mouthwatering meals just for us. The staff were incredible, the hotel was impeccably clean, and they even gave us rooms next to each other, exactly as requested. To top it off, we scored a balcony for some added charm. The only minor downside was the beds being a tad too soft. Nonetheless, I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it to everyone. The town itself was enchanting, and I can't wait to come back and stay here again.

Located in a charming town with easy access to larger cities, the hotel offered a cozy atmosphere and comfortable rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast had a good selection of food and drink options. One of the main highlights was the delicious Christmas dinner, complete with seasonal dishes and holiday cheer.
While we loved our stay overall, there were a few things that could have been improved upon. The room was a bit on the small side and didn't offer a lot of space to move around.

The rooms at Hotel Het Wapen Van Drenthe are so cozy and inviting! I loved the modern furnishings and the comfortable bed. The flat-screen TV provided some entertainment after a long day of exploring. The private bathroom was clean and had a nice shower.
Personally, I didn't need a balcony in my room, but others might enjoy it.
